Protetto: Googling gut strings: what’s out there?

My idea for today was to go through a Google search and explain how we can judge strings by the pictures, to decide if the offer is worth the investment.

I suggest keeping as a reference the slide below, even if a bit dated, it is a collection of historical data from Mimmo Peruffo.

The pictures below are taken from sales ads, so they are pictures showing the (good) quality of the products, or from articles exalting the qualities of gut strings (the second picture is from The Strad!!).

Would you buy? Can you see the problems? the first two are musical strings, the last two are badminton and tennis strings. But I guess they should require a bit more quality as well...
