Protetto: on Cello da Spalla Strings

Not my best video, sorry. I had many technological issues before connecting and I arrived just in time, so I was a bit nervous.

Anyway, we reviewed briefly the slides of the strings for cello da spalla (if you are interested precisely in this, I would suggest to go and review the first session, it was a bit expanded but clearer) and we tried to understand the issues some of us are facing with mainly the 5th string, but also with the 4th. 

The basses of this shortened instrument are a nightmare for a string maker, and none of us is getting the desired sound on the 5th string. I think that string is not enough tensed.

We opened the Thomastick set and we saw it's partially steel core and partially synthetic core.

The general feeling is that more experimentation is needed on the bridge, my personal idea I that we still do not get accurate strings. we'll see what the future will bring us!
